Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for wide-area-network leased lit-fiber Ethernet, shared backbone connections, standalone internet access, and related Category One network equipment. The procurement covers services and locations identified in Attachments A and B, with bandwidth requests ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps and multiple awards possible by location. Wireless service is not accepted, and dark fiber is excluded unless specifically requested. Bidders must submit applicable WAN or internet-access cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, along with Attachment F, the Exception/Compliance Summary, acknowledged addenda, and all other applicable RFP responses. WAN pricing generally covers five years with one optional one-year extension; internet-access pricing covers three years with two sequential one-year extensions. Vendors providing E-Rate-supported services must have a USAC-issued SPIN and maintain a current FCC Form 473/SPAC. Proposals must be submitted through BidNet Direct by the stated deadline.
