Description
This project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 36,800 square feet of low-slope roofing at the Holloway Campus Carvel Building in New Castle, Delaware. The scope of work includes a complete metal coping replacement and miscellaneous improvements associated with the roof system. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM local time at the Triplex Building Conference Room at Holloway Campus, 1901 N. duPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720. Attendance at this meeting is a prerequisite for bidding. Contract documents can be obtained from Reprographics Center, Inc. for a non-refundable fee of $50.00. Bidders are assured that they will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The State of Delaware reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
