Description
The State of Delaware, Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health is seeking professional services for the operation of mobile groundwater treatment systems to address PFAS contamination. This request for proposals (RFP) aims to ensure the expert utilization of two mobile groundwater treatment systems recently acquired by Delaware to provide safe drinking water to residents when Maximum Contamination Levels for PFAS are exceeded. The selected vendor will be responsible for the mobilization, demobilization, operation, and maintenance of these systems. The scope of work includes facilitating transportation of the treatment system to project locations, providing site visits and technical assistance for deployment, supplying necessary equipment and materials, and ensuring the system is operational within 72 hours of a request. The vendor will also provide on-site staff as necessary, monitor and sample finished water to verify efficacy, and perform maintenance and repairs on the system's plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components. Recommendations for new filtration media and facilitation of its purchase are also required. Cost estimates should include demobilization, filtration media replacement, and system adaptation for future deployment.
