Description
The State of New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is soliciting quotes for a contractor to administer and manage the New Jersey Clean Energy Program (NJCEP). This program encompasses a suite of statewide Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy (RE) initiatives available to customers across New Jersey's investor-owned natural gas and electric utilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for transitioning existing NJCEP programs, streamlining administrative processes, improving program performance, and coordinating with utility-led initiatives. Key areas of focus include managing solar incentive programs (SREC, TI, SuSI, Community Solar, Dual-Use Solar, Remote Net Metering), administering energy efficiency programs for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, and providing customer support services. The contractor will also be responsible for data collection, reporting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal security requirements. The contract term is for five years with options for extension. Bidders are required to submit detailed proposals including technical approaches, management overviews, staffing plans, and financial capabilities. The submission deadline for quotes is August 11, 2026.
