Description
The Town of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey is soliciting sealed bids for the 2024 Lead Water Service Replacements and Roadway Improvements project. The project involves replacing lead water services and making roadway improvements. Bidders are required to comply with New Jersey state regulations regarding affirmative action, equal opportunity, business registration, and sales and use tax. Small, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate. The contract is expected to be funded in part by the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank (NJiBank) - New Jersey Water Bank Loan Program, with a requirement that no less than 10 percent of the total contract amount be awarded to Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (SEDs).
