Description
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking proposals from qualified firms for expert professional architecture, exterior wall, roofing, and waterproofing design services on a task-order basis over a four-year term. Services may include investigations, field inspections and surveys, program development, project scoping, feasibility studies, schematic and final design, budgeting, contract-document preparation and review, technical specifications, shop-drawing review, testing coordination, and design analysis for removals, replacements, repairs, renovations, upgrades, and new facilities at Authority locations. The solicitation requires qualified architectural firms to demonstrate applicable licenses, experienced architectural staff, and specified recent project experience. Proposals must use the provided editable template and forms, including staff and firm qualifications, a participation plan, cost and salary information, and conflict-of-interest information. Multiple firms may be selected. The solicitation also identifies insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation/employers’ liability coverage.
