Description
The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting a contractor for a construction project to treat Gunnison sage-grouse habitat, an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act. The work will improve drainage on rural roads on government lands in the Crawford, Colorado area by installing efficient drainage features that move surface water from roadways onto adjacent sagebrush vegetation and restore natural hydrologic flow. The contractor is responsible for its service providers, which will be accountable solely to the contractor rather than directly to the Government. The proposal must include two separate volumes: Volume I, a non-priced technical proposal addressing technical approach, key-personnel qualifications and experience, project schedule, past performance, and a quality-control plan; and Volume II, a price proposal containing one inclusive price. Amendment 2 reopens the solicitation, changes the offer deadline to October 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. MDT, and changes the period of performance to November 1, 2026, through October 29, 2027.
