Description
The City of Lompoc, through its Utility Department, is soliciting sealed proposals for construction of Well No. 10, Project No. FY-26-W-2. The work includes providing labor, materials, equipment, accessories, and supervision to construct a 210-foot-deep, 16-inch-diameter stainless steel potable water supply well. The scope includes obtaining well permits; drilling, developing, and completing the well; preparing the well completion report; disposing of drilling cuttings and development water; and performing all related work necessary to deliver a complete and functional potable water well. The project is subject to California prevailing-wage requirements, Department of Industrial Relations registration and reporting requirements, and requires a valid Class C-57 Well Drilling Contractor License at contract award. The engineer's estimated base-bid range is $450,000 to $550,000, and the project duration is 60 days.
