Description
The City of Goleta is soliciting proposals for custodial and day porter services at the Goleta Train Station. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies for routine cleaning and sanitizing of the station, restrooms, public areas, offices, community room, café/vending area, entrances, and designated exterior grounds. Services include trash and recycling removal, restroom supply replenishment, floor and glass cleaning, high-touch surface sanitation, periodic deep and restorative cleaning, exterior pressure washing, condition monitoring, reporting, and maintaining the facility in a clean, sanitary, safe, and presentable condition. Services are required seven days per week except designated City holidays, with pricing requested for both three-visit-per-day and four-visit-per-day scenarios. The contractor must provide qualified and background-approved personnel, 24/7 emergency contacts, acknowledgment of urgent requests within 30 minutes, and on-site response within one hour when required. Extra services, including biohazard or hazardous-material cleanup, graffiti removal, emergency or holiday service, exterior window cleaning, pressure washing, and additional custodial visits, must be separately priced and authorized by the City. Proposals must include a letter of transmittal, firm qualifications, staffing information, references, a service approach, responses to specified operational questions, a completed cost proposal, and a signed non-discrimination policy acknowledgment.
