Description
The U.S. Army Research Laboratory requires a contractor to remove and properly dispose of existing Culligan water treatment systems and furnish and install complete replacement systems at 15 designated facilities. The replacement systems must include sediment pre-filtration, multimedia filtration, water softening, brine and chemical storage, chemical metering, water metering, in-line mixing, carbon filtration, ultraviolet treatment, and all associated piping, valves, controls, electrical connections, supports, and appurtenances. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, tools, and incidental services. Work includes coordination, removal, disposal, installation, system testing and commissioning, water-quality testing, correction of deficiencies, cleanup, and restoration. Product and technical data are required before installation, and operation and maintenance manuals, testing records, warranty information, and other completion documentation are required at project completion. All work must be completed within 14 calendar days after contract award.
