Description
The Indian Health Service is soliciting quotes for two non-personal-service contracts for hospitalist physician services supporting the Internal Medicine department at Northern Navajo Medical Center and associated Navajo Area facilities. The contractor must provide inpatient hospitalist coverage, including admissions, cross-coverage, emergency-room observation and transfers, intensive care unit coverage, discharge planning, consultations, medical-record documentation, and occasional departmental duties. Services are primarily nocturnal, typically involving 12-hour shifts, and require in-person performance at the healthcare facilities. Proposed physicians must have at least 36 months of physician experience, including at least 12 months of inpatient hospitalist experience, recent inpatient and ICU experience, and the ability to manage ventilators. An unrestricted U.S. medical license, active Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification, and current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. The contractor must also satisfy credentialing, immunization, health, background-investigation, HIPAA, information-security, cultural-awareness, and orientation requirements. Quotes must include administrative, technical, and pricing volumes in separate PDF files, including the completed Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form, technical approach, key-personnel qualifications and supporting records, proof of liability insurance, project schedule, retention plan, and detailed pricing for all base and option periods.
