Description
The City of Farmington is requesting quotes for estimated quantities of 20 specified electrical utility supply items, including grounding brackets, suspension insulators, transformer oil, 15 kV cutouts, compression deadends, overhead-wire supports, hotline clamps, fuse links, below-grade enclosures, URD pedestals, PVC cement, brackets, wildlife guards, conduit standoffs, and a meter socket. Several items are restricted to specified manufacturers or approved products, and some items permit equals subject to City approval; transformer oil and PVC cement require material safety data sheets with shipment. The City may order quantities periodically as needed, and unit bid prices govern. Deliveries are to be made as ordered, with delivery time required in the quote and warranties applying to supplied materials. Quotes must be submitted through the online bidding system by the stated response deadline. The solicitation also requires completion of the online bid attributes and bid lines, including payment discount, delivery days, tax estimate, pricing, supplier information, and certification. A separate certification and appropriate certificates are required only for vendors seeking resident-business preference. The City may accept minor or superior exceptions when fully explained on a separate page titled “Exceptions to Specifications.”
