Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide scheduled and unscheduled STAT courier runs between the 1st Special Operations Medical Group at Hurlburt Field and the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base. The contractor must provide personnel, management, supervision, transportation, and a vehicle to transport medical records, dental records, laboratory specimens, radiology records, small equipment weighing no more than 40 pounds, and TRICARE documentation. The requirement includes two scheduled daily runs, dental-record checks at least twice weekly, and STAT-run availability from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a two-hour response time. Personnel must have at least a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver's license, fluent English skills, and required identification and base-access credentials. The work involves compliance with HIPAA, the Privacy Act, controlled-information safeguards, criminal background checks, and Hepatitis B vaccination, declination, or documented immunity. The solicitation is a lowest-price technically acceptable procurement and is set aside entirely for small businesses. The stated period of performance is October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
