Description
The Defense Health Agency is seeking a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide non-personal medical courier services for the Department of Pathology and Department of Pharmacy at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital. The contractor will pick up and deliver clinical diagnostic specimens, pharmacy boxes, supplies, blood and blood products, environmental air-test samples, and laboratory/pharmacy paperwork among designated military clinics, the hospital, the Korean Red Cross Gyeonggi Blood Center, and Seoul Clinical Laboratories/SHC Healthcare. Services include scheduled weekday routes, emergent and non-routine deliveries, door-to-door transport, temperature-controlled vehicles and containers, temperature data logging, secure handling of biological and temperature-sensitive materials, service reporting, and compliance with applicable U.S. Department of Defense and Republic of Korea requirements. The contractor must provide proof of vehicle insurance, at least two years of relevant experience, designated couriers and managers, and a Quality Assurance Plan meeting College of American Pathologists standards. The base period is one year with four one-year option periods, plus a potential six-month extension under FAR 52.217-8. Quotes must include administrative, technical, and price volumes, with pricing for all base and option-period line items.
