Description
Strathcona County is seeking a single provider for light- and medium-duty vehicle rentals supporting ongoing and seasonal municipal operations. The scope includes monthly, daily, and weekly rental rates for trucks, vans, sport utility vehicles, and related vehicle configurations; unlimited kilometres; delivery; collection; maintenance and repairs; replacement vehicles; and administrative support. Rental vehicles must meet detailed age, mileage, safety, equipment, inspection, decaling, and roadworthiness requirements, including applicable Alberta Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program standards for qualifying vehicles. The agreement is structured for an initial three-year term, with two optional extensions of up to two years each. Vehicles will be ordered as needed through purchase orders, with no guaranteed rental volume. Proponents must submit a completed Submission Form, Pricing Form, and Rated Criteria Evaluation Form, including company experience, two comparable project examples, delivery lead times, breakdown and replacement response procedures, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, service support, reporting samples, and telematics capabilities.
