Description
The Liquor Control Board of Ontario is soliciting proposals for overseas inland LCL shipment pickup from its international suppliers to overseas consolidation facilities, temporary storage and consolidation of small shipments into full container loads, and ocean freight transportation from those facilities to Canadian container terminals. The LCBO expects to award one agreement per country, covering all applicable lanes and services for that country. A proponent may receive awards for multiple countries. The agreement will have a two-year initial term, with up to five separate one-year extension options, for a maximum potential term of seven years. Required submission materials include business capability and consolidation-facility information, country and location forms, financial statements, pricing attachments, business attestations, proof of facility lease or ownership, a bank letter confirming line of credit, business-continuity and disaster-recovery information, and EDI capability certification and licensing documentation.
