Description
The Central New York Regional Transportation Authority is seeking a qualified actuarial firm to provide annual actuarial valuation reports for its salaried and non-salaried pension plans, the Centro of Oneida non-salaried pension plan, and postemployment benefits other than pensions, with reporting compliant with current Governmental Accounting Standards Board requirements. The scope also includes an annual actuarial validation report, monthly benefit-payment calculations upon request, at least one annual review meeting, and ad hoc consultation on pension matters, actuarial science, financial analysis, legislative changes, and actuarial assumptions. The proposer must demonstrate comparable public-sector experience, including New York State public-sector clients; identify an assigned primary representative with at least five years of experience; provide staffing details and key-personnel resumes; explain its technical approach and confidential-file procedures; and submit detailed pricing. The resulting contract is for five years, beginning April 1, 2027, and ending March 31, 2032. Subcontracting requires prior written approval.
