Description
The City of Syracuse, through Onondaga County's purchasing division, is soliciting a contractor to collect revenue from approximately 260 multi-space and 54 single-space parking meters throughout Syracuse. Services include scheduled collections during daylight hours, increased or special collections when directed, daily reporting of damaged, empty, or inoperative meters, and delivery of collected coin boxes to the City Payment Center. The contractor must safeguard city-issued key fobs, collection containers, coins, and other collected funds, and must provide reports or permit observation of individual meter collections when requested. The contract term is October 8, 2026, through October 7, 2027, with two additional one-year renewal options. Bidders must submit pricing per collection for each meter type, use the provided proposal form, provide a signed proposal, W-9, disclosure statement, required certifications, and bid security. A 5% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide a 5% performance surety bond. Insurance, including general liability and automobile liability coverage, is required.
