Description
The City of Syracuse Department of Public Works is seeking up to four consultants to provide as-needed professional traffic and transportation engineering services under work orders. Anticipated tasks include data collection; accident review and mitigation investigations; traffic impact studies; parking studies; pavement marking, roadway, multimodal facility, intersection, and traffic signal design; regional and corridor signal coordination; traffic signal maintenance coordination; traffic control justification; transportation-project construction inspection; and transportation planning. Services may also include design, construction administration, testing, integration, and support for fiber-optic, wireless, and wire-line communication systems. Selection is qualification-based, with a billing rate schedule required. Proposals must address relevant experience, qualifications, personnel availability, emergency response, municipal procedures, recent projects, professional references, and supporting information. The contract will support as-needed work orders and may select a maximum of four consultants. Required response materials include a cover letter, proposal details, price proposal, financial disclosure, prior non-responsibility determination disclosure, workforce diversity form, M/WBE subcontracting draft plan, non-collusive certification, required non-discrimination questionnaires, and a signed proposal confirmation.
