Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University is soliciting sealed bids for the replacement of two existing emergency generators, installation of paralleling switchgear, replacement of miscellaneous automatic transfer switches, and installation of a new control network communicating with all automatic transfer switches. The work includes all necessary labor, materials, and equipment and serves the Concentrated Care Center, the East Wing of University Hospital. The project must be completed within 540 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate by hand delivery or mail, with bid security of at least 5% of the total bid. The solicitation establishes participation goals of 12% MBE, 18% WBE, and 6% SDVOB, along with workforce participation goals of 10% WBE and 10% MBE.
