Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University is soliciting sealed bids for Project 151295/1571, UH Replace North Penthouse Air Handlers – Phase 1. The work includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment to replace air handling units BL-4, BL-5, BL-14, and BL-26 in the North wing penthouse of University Hospital, plus installing a steam-to-glycol hot-water heat exchanger serving existing preheat and reheat coils and future heating loads. The work will be phased to minimize downtime of conditioned air to hospital spaces. The contract requires completion within 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The project includes participation goals of 6% SDVOB, 12% MBE, and 18% WBE, as well as workforce participation goals of 10% WBE and 10% MBE. Addendum No. 2 requires acknowledgment on the Form of Proposal, provides responses concerning concrete and masonry repairs, hazardous exhaust fans, duct insulation, and coordination files, and establishes September 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. as the final deadline for questions; any final addendum is scheduled for September 17, 2026.
