Description
Northland Associates, Inc. plans to bid on the hospital CT replacement and basement renovation project and is soliciting quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for demolition, underlayment, rough carpentry, plastic-laminate-faced cabinets, drywall, resilient flooring, painting, wall and door protection, solid-surface countertops, radiation protection (including lead drywall, lead glass, and signage), plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. The overall project includes demolition and renovation of existing spaces; removal and replacement of CT equipment; modifications to architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and technology systems; installation and connection of new CT equipment and supporting infrastructure; finishes and casework; rigging and material handling; temporary protection; infection-control measures; and coordination to maintain hospital operations during construction. The project schedule is 90 calendar days. Specifications and drawings are available on the contractor's project-bidding website, and interested firms are asked to contact the contractor for an invitation. The posting states MBE and WBE participation goals of 12% and 18%, respectively, and solicits NYS MBE/WBE and SDVOB subcontractors and suppliers.
