Description
The City of Raleigh's Fleet Management Operations Division requires towing and recovery services for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, as well as off-road heavy equipment. The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for picking up and delivering inoperable vehicles to City locations or vendor repair sites, and transporting vehicles to surplus facilities for disposal. Recovery services will also be required for immobile or stuck vehicles. Vendors must guarantee completion of towing/transport/recovery services within two hours of being contacted and are responsible for any damage to vehicles during towing. The city aims to establish contracts with two towing and recovery vendors to ensure timely service, with an anticipated 20-40 towing/transport/recovery calls per month split between the awarded vendors.
