Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for as-needed mobile surgical laser rentals with certified and credentialed technician support for urology and otolaryngology/ENT procedures. The contractor would furnish, deliver, set up, operate or support operation of, troubleshoot, and remove the equipment, while maintaining it in good working order and supporting VA Biomedical Engineering inspection requirements. Potential equipment includes thulium, standard and 100-watt holmium, KTP, flexible-fiber CO2, other CO2, and continuous-flow cystoscope systems, along with required scopes, fibers, handpieces, attachments, supplies, accessories, and disposables. The anticipated requirement is one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods, with monthly or bimonthly rentals and approximately 24 hours' notice for procedures. This is a Sources Sought notice and Request for Information, not a request for pricing or offers; respondents must complete the questionnaire and provide a capabilities statement.
