Description
The State of Colorado, through the Department of Regulatory Agencies and its Division of Professions and Occupations, is seeking one or more designated providers for a statewide peer health assistance program serving physicians, physician assistants, and anesthesiologist assistants. Required services include education, intake, comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations, drug and alcohol testing coordination, treatment referrals, monitoring, counseling and family support, urgent intervention, case management, secure communications, records management, and reporting to the State. The provider must offer services statewide with 24/7 program coverage, maintain qualified licensed personnel and treatment-provider networks, support confidential health-information handling under HIPAA and 42 C.F.R. Part 2, provide customer service and a secure website, maintain records for at least 10 years, and conduct quality assurance and financial reporting. Proposals must address the full statement of work, organizational experience, key personnel, references, financial strength, accessibility, implementation, contract exceptions, and a detailed fiscal-year budget. The initial term is anticipated to run from February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2028, with up to four additional one-year renewal periods.
