Description
This project involves the repair and resurfacing of one basketball court, including the like-for-like replacement of two basketball goals. Additionally, two bocce ball courts will be repaired and resurfaced. The work will be performed at Pelican Bay Community Park, located at 764 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples, FL 34108. The scope of work includes providing labor and materials for the removal and disposal of existing deteriorated playing surfaces, court borders, curbing, headers, and containment systems for the bocce ball courts. The existing court base will be regraded and compacted to ensure a smooth and stable surface, with low spots, depressions, and edge failures repaired as needed for proper drainage. New bocce court surfacing material suitable for recreational and competitive play will be installed. For the basketball court, the scope includes repair and resurfacing per Exhibit 1, and the removal and disposal of two existing basketball goals, including footings. Two new, like-for-like or County-approved equal basketball goals will be supplied and installed, including manufacturer's recommended foundation installation. Affected basketball court surface areas will be repaired and touched up.
