This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is for environmental laboratory services to analyze potable water samples. The services will be provided to the State of Florida Department of Health. The contract is anticipated to be for three years, with renewals possible for up to three additional years. The contractor must be a certified environmental laboratory capable of analyzing potable water samples and must hold certification through the Florida Department of Health, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC), and the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). Daily pick-up of water samples from the Florida Department of Health in Collier County Environmental Health Office in Naples, FL is required, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM. Emergency sample analysis is also required seven days a week. Samples must be analyzed within thirty hours of collection, and results reported via email within one business day of test completion. Analysis must be performed in accordance with the latest version of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. The state reserves the right to increase or decrease estimated quantities. The award will be made to the responsive, responsible respondent offering the lowest grand total for the services requested.
