Description
The City of Homestead is soliciting quotes for a contractor to install new impact windows and doors at the Code Compliance and Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Administration Building. This project aims to enhance hurricane resilience by strengthening the building envelope, complying with the Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade/Florida Product Approval requirements. The scope includes full permitting, removal and disposal of existing units, and installation of new impact-rated products. Award may be made based on a combination of price, vendor qualifications, experience, and ability to meet the project schedule. The project is funded through the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program.
