Description
The Monroe County School District (MCSD) is requesting qualifications from audit firms to provide comprehensive construction auditing services. The selected firm will be responsible for overseeing construction projects to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with all regulations. Services will cover planning, execution, and post-completion reviews, with the objective of providing independent oversight of project costs, schedules, procurement practices, contract administration, and compliance requirements. The contract will have an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms. The scope of work includes reviewing project budgets, cost estimates, financial reports, labor burden rates, equipment usage, subcontractor pricing, and change orders. The firm will also assess project schedules, evaluate change orders, inspect construction quality, and review procurement processes. Reporting will involve detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations. The selected firm must adhere to strict timeliness, communication, documentation, and confidentiality requirements, and maintain independence from project participants.
