Description
Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is seeking three A/E consultants to provide design and related engineering services for the County's water treatment plants and their appurtenant facilities. The scope of work includes planning, design, and implementation of improvements to meet water quality standards and operational needs. Services may encompass hydraulic and process modeling, coordination with utilities and agencies, preparation of design reports, drawings, and technical specifications for structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Consultants will also provide engineering services during permitting and procurement, construction administration, and post-construction support. The County intends to retain three consultants for Non-Exclusive Professional Services Agreements (PSAs), each with an effective term of six years with a two-year option to renew. The estimated contract amount for each PSA is $20,000,000. The selection process will involve evaluating proposals based on qualifications, past experience, past performance, staffing availability, and local/veteran business preferences.
