Description
The City of Homestead Energy/Electric Services Department is soliciting quotes for the purchase of tools and parts for departmental use. The Homestead T&D crews need special tools to complete their tasks efficiently, as current tools wear out over time. The solicitation includes a variety of items such as Bullard hard hats, glove bags, Hastings hot sticks (Tel-O-Pole, bucket hot stick, fiberglass canister, shotgun sticks), voltage detectors, industrial gear bags, Milwaukee searchlights and beacon hard hat lights, Buckingham body belts and climber kits, NASCO rain gear, Crosby snatch blocks, and other related equipment. Award will be made on an all-or-nothing basis, considering factors beyond lowest price such as product availability and timely delivery.
