Description
Topeka Public Schools is soliciting bids for the replacement of flooring at the Sheldon Child Development Center. The project involves removing existing carpet, transition strips, and base, and installing approximately 4,921 square feet of carpet tile, transition strips, and 1,588 linear feet of wall base in classrooms and office areas. An allowance of $2,000.00 is included for unforeseen work. The project will utilize federal funds, requiring compliance with federal guidelines, including prevailing wage rates. Bids are due by 2:00 PM Central Standard Time on June 29, 2026, and can be submitted electronically via www.publicpurchase.com or by mail/delivery to the Purchasing Services office. A mandatory pre-bid/site visit is scheduled for June 22, 2026.
