Description
This Request for Quote (RFQ) seeks carpet replacement and related services for multiple buildings at the 934th Air Reserve Station in Minneapolis, MN. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of existing carpet and base cove, floor preparation, and the installation of new carpet squares and base cove. The estimated total square footage is 8,100 SF. The contractor will also be responsible for organizing dumpster services for debris removal and providing weight tickets to the 934th Environmental Flight. Lifting and moving desks and file cabinets are included, while facility occupants will move lighter items. The requirement falls under the AFFCC Carpet II Program, where Tier II installers must purchase materials from mandatory Tier I manufacturers, specifically Tarkett AFTERMATH III, POTPOURRI 24" X 24" carpet squares. All terms and conditions, including NTE material pricing from Tier I contracts, must be passed through directly without additional contractor mark-up. Award will be based on best value, considering technical acceptance and price. A site visit is scheduled for June 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM CDT, requiring prior clearance via an Entry Access List (EAL) submitted by June 22, 2026.
