Description
Ascension Parish Government is soliciting bids for the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center REV Center Flooring Refinish Re-Bid project. This project involves the refinishing of flooring in six areas of the REV Center building. The scope of work includes the removal of existing flooring, preparation of concrete surfaces, and the application of new flooring systems. Specific areas include the main floor (approximately 63,771 sq ft) which will receive a polished concrete finish, and five other areas (Lobby, Hallway, Conference Rooms 1, 2, and 3, and a Sound Room/Bathroom) which will receive Sherwin-Williams HPF Resuflor DSS or an approved equal. Additional scope includes removal of existing tile at the rear of the REV Center in two locations, replacement of non-ADA compliant transition pieces or thresholds, and addition of transitions where bathroom tiles and dressing room floors meet the lobby. The project requires coordination with the Expo Center's event calendar, with an estimated installation time of 2-3 weeks. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting.
