Description
The City of Corona Utilities Department is seeking a qualified consultant to evaluate the technical, operational, regulatory, and economic feasibility of installing and operating battery energy storage systems at five Wholesale Distribution Access Tariff delivery locations. The study should assess potential benefits including energy-cost reduction through load and peak-period management, mitigation of energy exports and backfeed, capacity and market opportunities, and reliability improvements. The consultant must provide recommendations to support the City's decision regarding further development, procurement, and implementation. The project is a lump-sum engagement with an estimated six-month duration and a stated start date of March 1, 2027. Proposals must include the required electronic response forms and be submitted individually through the designated electronic bidding system.
