Description
The Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of the County of St. Louis is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to inspect an existing Daikin variable refrigerant heat recovery HVAC system, recommend an appropriate repair or replacement strategy, and execute the selected approach at the Early Explorers Child Development Academy. The system has experienced repeated compressor failures and significant refrigerant leaks. Proposals must address multiple potential approaches, including roof-mounted package units, individual ductless split systems, individual rooftop units, and repair or upgrade of the existing system; alternative approaches may also be proposed. Respondents must provide the advantages and disadvantages of each approach, labor and equipment pricing, inspection costs, proposed timelines, firm and personnel experience, availability, participation of under-represented groups, a completed Work Authorization Affidavit with supporting documentation, and all proposed fees and expenses.
