Description
The City of Mason is soliciting bids for the electrical and lighting portion of the East Main Parking Lot project. The work includes furnishing and installing aesthetic light poles and foundations; installing lighting, power-control equipment, a CT cabinet and meter, pad-mounted electrical control panels, and electrical connections to a new pole-mounted transformer service; and arranging for new electrical service. Underground conduits will be installed by the project's general contractor, while the electrical contractor must furnish and install the conductors and other equipment needed for a complete, functional system. The contractor must coordinate with the general contractor, subcontractors, the City, and the project engineer, with multiple mobilizations expected. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must submit the printed proposal forms and the entire contract document, along with a bid guaranty and contract bond; the successful contractor must provide performance and maintenance and guarantee bonds. Substantial completion is required by May 15, 2027, and liquidated damages are $1,000 per calendar day for late completion.
