This bid package seeks a prequalified subcontractor to furnish and install complete electrical, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for a high school food and nutrition laboratory renovation. The scope includes electrical demolition coordination and make-safe work; temporary power and lighting; a new 300A service; panel, feeders, branch circuits, receptacles, equipment power, lighting and controls; fire alarm modifications, programming, testing, shop drawings, and calculations; TV and data outlets with Cat 6 cabling; wireless access point relocation; and raceways and boxes for owner-furnished audiovisual equipment. The lump-sum turnkey bid must include labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, fees, labeling, testing, firestopping, as-builts, closeout documentation, and related coordination. Bidders must be prequalified and submit the provided bid form in a sealed envelope. The project includes specified insurance, worker background checks, E-Verify, site safety and fire-watch requirements, a one-year warranty from Substantial Completion, and acceptance of pass-through liquidated damages of $500 per day. Alternates cover casework devices and demonstration-station electrical finish, with additional requested unit pricing for an underground 300A feeder, receptacle circuits, and Cat 6 data drops.
