Description
The City of Hamilton is soliciting sealed bids for the 2027 supply and delivery of water production chemicals for its Department of Infrastructure. The required products are 25% sodium chlorite solution, liquid chlorine, sodium silicofluoride, and liquid carbon dioxide, each meeting specified NSF, American Water Works Association, and, where applicable, Chlorine Institute or Compressed Gas Association standards. Estimated quantities include approximately 285,000 pounds of sodium chlorite, 32,000 pounds of liquid chlorine in 150-pound cylinders, 38 tons of sodium silicofluoride in 50-pound bags, and 780 tons of liquid carbon dioxide. Pricing must remain firm through December 31, 2027, and deliveries are to be made to the South Water Plant in Fairfield, Ohio. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, affidavits, bidding schedules, and bid security; the bid security is 10% of the total bid, while the contract bond requirement has been waived by the Purchasing Agent. The solicitation also requires compliance with detailed delivery, product-quality, packaging, and chain-of-custody requirements.
