Description
This prime construction contract covers the complete electrical and low-voltage systems package for the Vista Continuation High School new campus. The scope includes building and site electrical systems; conduit, wiring, panels, switchboards, transformers, lighting, emergency lighting, grounding, testing, trenching, utility infrastructure, and related excavation and restoration. The contractor must also provide a complete photovoltaic array using panels salvaged by others, electric vehicle supply equipment, site lighting, and electrical connections for specified equipment. The package further includes complete fire alarm and emergency voice alarm communications, structured communications cabling and intercommunications, audio-visual systems and supports, assistive listening systems, and rough-in for security and access control. The contractor is responsible for commissioning, documentation, labeling, as-built records, coordination with PG&E, and project administration through Procore. A California C-10 license and required prequalification apply. The estimated bid value is $5,765,321.04, with a 490-calendar-day project duration. The bid requires a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment bond, and 100 percent performance bond.
