Description
The City of East Palo Alto, serving as lead agency for East Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, San Carlos, and Portola Valley, is soliciting a single design consultant or consultant team for publicly accessible electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The project includes 66 proposed charging stations across 22 sites: 62 Level 2 chargers and four DC fast chargers. Construction, ongoing operations and maintenance, and overall project management are procured separately. The scope includes site assessments and feasibility analysis; schematic, design development, and stamped bid-ready construction documents; civil, electrical, structural, accessibility, utility, permitting, environmental, federal, and code compliance; property-owner outreach for curbside charging; construction bid package preparation and procurement support; and optional construction-phase technical support. Proposals must include the firm's qualifications and experience, key personnel resumes, at least three comparable client references, methodology, California licensing information, a fee proposal, and an acknowledgment of or requested changes to the City's standard professional services agreement.
