Description
Orange County, Indiana, is soliciting proposals for an employee Health Insurance Plan comprising health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. Proposers may submit for any portion of the plan, including medical and pharmacy coverage only. The County has approximately 111 full-time employees and currently provides health benefits to approximately 85 covered employees and their dependents. The estimated budget is $1,500,000. The proposed plans must provide coverage for employees using Kentucky medical facilities and Kentucky medical professionals. Proposals must include an executive summary, company overview with Indiana experience and public-sector references, compliance statement, detailed cost proposal, at least three references, exceptions, and confirmation of Kentucky coverage. The selected proposer must maintain appropriate licenses, insurance, data-security controls, confidentiality protections, and compliance practices.
