Description
The Village of Vinton is soliciting proposals for employee health, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability, and AD&D insurance coverage for eligible full-time employees, dependents, and continuation-of-coverage participants. Proposers may submit for one or more coverage categories or all requested coverages, and the Village may award a single contract or multiple contracts. Proposed plans should maintain or improve current benefit levels, identify material differences from existing coverage, provide required claims and customer-service support, and comply with applicable licensing, legal, and HIPAA requirements. The initial contract term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to two additional 12-month renewal periods. Rates must be guaranteed for at least the initial 12-month period. Evaluation will consider cost and financial terms, benefits and provider networks, claims and customer service, vendor experience and small-employer support, proposal quality, references, and financial stability.
