Description
The U.S. Geological Survey is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for one brand-name Nikon Ci-Pol polarizing microscope configured with strain-free Nikon optics, trinocular viewing, analyzer and polarizer components, mechanical stage, and 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x objectives. The equipment will support rock and mineral identification and characterization in thin sections. The requirement also includes a Nikon DS100 digital microscope camera, associated NIS Elements LE imaging software, relay lens, USB cable, power adapter, and related accessories. Offered products must be authentic, manufacturer-certified and warranted, supplied in original intact manufacturer packaging, and meet or exceed the listed salient characteristics. Technical brochures or detailed specifications demonstrating compliance are required with the quote. Delivery is required by December 18, 2026, to the USGS ESP Team at the Denver Federal Center.
