Description
The Professional and Vocational Licensing Division of Hawaii's Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs is soliciting proposals for an organization to administer examinations for the Nurse Aide Program and establish, maintain, and operate a nurse aide registry in compliance with applicable federal and state requirements, including the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 and 42 CFR Part 483. The contractor must provide examination sites and sufficient testing personnel, administer and monitor examinations securely, verify examinee identities, distribute required notices and documents, report examination results, investigate administration or security problems, and provide weekly, monthly, and annual reports and registry data. The scope covers testing on Oahu and the neighboring islands, subject to state approval of examination sites and schedules.
