Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, on behalf of the Texas Department of State Health Services, is soliciting one grant recipient to provide operational and fiduciary oversight for Mexico Binational Tuberculosis programs. The grantee must establish and monitor agreements with four Mexico-based programs, support direct tuberculosis prevention and care services, and coordinate physicians, nurses, outreach workers, radiology services, video directly observed therapy, customs brokerage for specimen transportation, supplies, telecommunications, and office space. The grantee will also manage subgrantees and subcontractors, monitor budgets and performance, conduct site visits, maintain compliance with program standards, submit financial and programmatic reports, and coordinate with Texas health officials. The estimated total available funding and maximum award amount are each $2,846,835. The anticipated project period is January 1, 2027, through August 31, 2028, with possible renewals and extensions. Applications must include narrative forms, two requested budgets, an indirect-cost questionnaire, administrative forms, federal grant exhibits, and signed addenda, and may be submitted through the HHS Online Bid Room or by sealed package with USB drives.
