Description
The California Department of Water Resources seeks on-call geological exploration drilling and well services at a minimum of two and a maximum of six sites. Work includes drilling exploratory boreholes; constructing monitoring and extraction wells; well development, pump installation, and aquifer testing; and, when requested, geophysical logging and other specialized equipment or services. The contractor must hold a valid California C-57 water well drilling license, provide qualified drillers and helpers, and meet specified training and staffing requirements. Work is assigned through written work orders, and the solicitation does not guarantee a minimum amount of work. The agreement is anticipated to run for one year, with two one-year options. Bidders must attend a mandatory virtual pre-bid conference and meet the required 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation commitment. Award is based on the lowest responsible bid meeting the specifications.
