Description
Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District is soliciting proposals for the replacement and expansion of structured cabling infrastructure at Armijo High School. The scope includes approximately 32,510 feet of 23 AWG solid-copper Category 6A plenum-rated horizontal cabling, fiber-optic backbone links, patch panels, IDF cabinet buildout, surface raceways, cable pathways, wireless access-point drops, rack adjustments, removal of legacy cabling, grounding, firestopping, and related installation work. The contractor must furnish, install, test, and certify the system, including 100% link testing to applicable ANSI/TIA standards and delivery of test results and as-built documentation. The solicitation requires a California C-7 license, Panduit Certified Installer status, BICSI RCDD and technician resources, certified-reseller status, insurance, bid security, and compliance with prevailing-wage and public-works requirements. The proposal must include service-provider information, a letter of agreement, detailed cost proposal, applicable addenda, completed submittal pages, required certifications, three reference sites, and supporting licenses and insurance documentation. The contract is intended as a one-year contract, with annual renewal possible for up to three consecutive fiscal years, subject to funding and district approval.
