Description
The City of Bellingham is soliciting sealed construction proposals for the Post Point Sludge Tank Replacement Project. The work includes construction of sludge storage tanks and an odor-control system; installation and replacement of sludge, sump, return activated sludge, waste activated sludge, and dewatering pumps; associated piping, instrumentation, and temporary piping; structural modifications; demolition; excavation, shoring, dewatering, pile installation, electrical work, HVAC improvements, repairs to affected structures, and commissioning. The stated price range is $14.1 million to $17 million. Proposals must use the City-provided Bid Proposal form and include bid security of at least 5% of the total bid. A 100% payment and performance contract bond is required, subject to the stated exception for projects of $35,000 or less.
