Description
The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Kentucky is soliciting as-needed court reporting services for grand jury proceedings and depositions. The scope includes regular, intermediate, daily, expedited, condensed, PDF, and audio/video transcripts; keyword indexing; additional and exhibit copies; CD-R media; videographer attendance and recording when requested; and related reporting, recording, and transcription services. The Government confirmed that proceedings are ordered as needed and that videographer attendance may be required for grand jury sessions. The contractor must provide qualified court reporters and any requested videographers, propose five to seven court reporters, identify all personnel with access to grand jury material, use approved recording and backup systems, provide accurate read-back capability, and comply with extensive confidentiality, personnel screening, facility, storage, equipment, delivery, destruction, transportation, and incident-reporting requirements. Grand jury personnel require Government approval and favorable background investigations, while deposition reporters must meet applicable authorization requirements. The contract is an indefinite-delivery vehicle with a $25,000 minimum guarantee, $500 minimum order limit, and $100,000 maximum order limit. The base period runs from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2027, followed by four one-year option periods.
